Orange Turmeric Smoothie Recipe
This vibrant, sunshine-in-a-glass smoothie is packed with Vitamin C and powerful anti-inflammatories. It's the perfect morning wake-up call to boost your immune system and get your skin glowing.
Ingredients
- 2 oranges, peeled and segmented
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup carrot juice (or 1 small chopped carrot)
- 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 cup coconut water
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (optional)
Nutrition Facts
Instructions
Prep the Oranges
Peel the oranges and remove as much of the white pith as possible to avoid bitterness. Remove any seeds. Break into segments.
Combine Ingredients
Pour the coconut water and carrot juice into the blender. Add the orange segments, yogurt (if using), turmeric, and ginger. Top with the frozen banana.
Blend
Blend on high speed for 45-60 seconds until completely smooth and a bright, vibrant orange color. Add more liquid if it's too thick.
Serve
Pour immediately into a glass. Garnish with an orange slice or a sprinkle of turmeric powder if desired.
Pro Tip
Add a pinch of black pepper to your smoothie! You won't taste it, but it increases the absorption of curcumin (the active ingredient in turmeric) by up to 2000%.

Morning Sunshine!
This color alone wakes me up! The ginger adds a nice little kick. I used fresh turmeric root instead of powder and it was amazing.

Refreshing
I didn't think I'd like carrot in my smoothie but you can't really taste it. The orange flavor is dominant. Very refreshing.
